Question: Is ok for me to eat not so healthy food while trying to lose weight but not a lot of calories?
(Posted by: Team Snape <3 on 2010-07-28 19:35:07)
So today so far I had a whole grain sandwich and it had this cream stuff it and 2 peaches and this stuff (can't remeber what it is called but it had a lot of calories T.T) and an ice cream cone... (I know bad!) and it all added up to 1100 calories. Is it ok to eat food that isn't completely healthy but eat a low amount of calories while trying to lose weight? (I still have 100 to go) |

Don't do it all the time, your body needs healthy stuff to properly function. drink 12-14 8oz glasses of water per day (eat your calories rather than drinking them, i.e. soda, juice, etc.). eat lots of fruits and veggies, some protein and little of carbs and fat. eat six meals a day rather than the traditional three to increase metabolism. and never deny yourself anything because you will crave it, everything in moderation is key. brisk walking or jogging are great calorie burners. good luck :) |

Indulge yourself every two days with one treat........i used to eat the recommended 1800 calories but i was eating like 3 bagels a day and 3 cans of coke which is both horrible for you...and i weighed 147 pounds i switched the coke for green tea and ate more healthy foods like salmon and broccoli and i got down to 130 the rest i had to work off. but by eating healthier foods of the same calorie intake i lost 17 pounds so no it is not ok if you are trying to lose weight also 1100 is really low you should eat the amount of your bmr (calculate it online) and burn off all your calories by exercising. like exercise off 500 calories a day |

Hi :) Im also 15 and i last September i weighed 145 pounds and lost 33 pounds and i now weigh 112. To loose weight it is very simple. Don't listen to diets or plans or anything. Just be natural . Ill give you my best tips : -eat smaller and healthier portions throughout the day but more frequently (ex- eat 5 meals a day but make your meals half the size) this will speed up your metabolism and -drink TUNS of water -walk every day for 30 min, and also do a 30 min workout thats high impact on the body (dance, ect.) -Pick 1 day on the weekend and 1 day in the week to take a break from your workouts -Pick 1 day each week to indulge and not worry about your diet (make sure its only one day a week and it will not affect you at all) -do not pick at food! Put what your gonna eat in your plate and don't eat anything else! especially when making the food. Hope i helped:) |
