Question: What do occupational therapy aides do?

Are aides just like assistants? Do they make about the same pay or do assistants make more? What are their general duties? If you work in the field and have some information that would be great. I am looking into the field and was just wondering. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Aides generally can not touch a patient. They are taught on the job. They transport residents. They clean and do adminstration stuff. Assistants treat patients. OT do evaluations and treatment
